Installation Instructions:

Open the rear doors. Remove the bottom of the rear seat by pulling up from the front. Unplug the seat warmer cables on both sides (if equipped). Once the bottom of the seat is removed, remove the 4 12mm bolts that hold the back rest in place. You may need a ratchet. Lift up on the seat back and lean forward. No need to remove it. The wires are on a white 2-pin plug on the driver side behind the seat back. Remember to reconnect the seat warmers when reinstalling the rear seat.

Additional Information:

The wires are two different colors on different sides of the plug. On the gray side of the plug, the positive wire is White/Black, and Green is Ground. Sometimes these wires are reversed. The wires on the White side of the plug are the correct way. The positive wire is Blue and White/Black is Ground.

  • Positive Wire:

    Blue

  • Ground Wire

    White/Black

About wire colors:

In the event a wire has two colors listed, the first color is the base wire color. The second color is the tracer. For example, if the positive wire color is listed as "black/red." This means the wire is black with a red stripe.
