Installation Instructions:

To access the wires for the third brake light, go to the back of the car and remove the trim cover that is around the passenger brake light. BE CAREFUL THE PLASTIC IS VERY SENSITIVE. Once the cover is removed the two wire harness is in the gap between the brake light and the bumper cover on the left side near the center of the trunk.

  • Positive Wire:

    Violet/White

  • Ground Wire

    Black

About wire colors:

In the event a wire has two colors listed, the first color is the base wire color. The second color is the tracer. For example, if the positive wire color is listed as "black/red." This means the wire is black with a red stripe.
