Installation Instructions:

Open the tailgate. Remove the rectangular plastic cover that is in between the bed of the truck and the tailgate to access the wire harness. Unplug the two plugs to facilitate the install.

ALTERNATE INSTALLATION OPTION:

Open the tail gate and located the square peg that is in the center. Remove the 4 T-27 screws to find the brake light wires. The wires will be located in the smaller of the two harnesses. Cut back the black tap to access the brake light wires.

  • Positive Wire:

    White/Green

  • Ground Wire

    Black

About wire colors:

In the event a wire has two colors listed, the first color is the base wire color. The second color is the tracer. For example, if the positive wire color is listed as "black/red." This means the wire is black with a red stripe.
