Remove the two Phillips screws on both sides of the brake light. Remove the brake light assembly to access the wires behind the light. The wires are in the gray 3-pin plug on the left of the light.

About wire colors:
In the event a wire has two colors listed, the first color is the base wire color. The second color is the tracer. For example, if the positive wire color is listed as "black/red." This means the wire is black with a red stripe.
